The "China's textile industry smart manufacturing development strategy research" project results conference was held in Beijing recently. The key consulting and research project is led by a number of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, aiming to provide strategic support for the transformation and upgrading of intelligent manufacturing and high-quality development of China's textile industry in the next 5 to 10 years.
According to Sun Jinliang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, in 2016, the Chinese Academy of Engineering established and initiated the “Study on Strategic Development of China's Textile Industry Smart Manufacturing Development” consulting project. The research report that took more than two years to complete comprehensively combed the advantages and challenges of China's textile industry and new opportunities. Comparing the development status of intelligent manufacturing in the textile industry at home and abroad, on the basis of practical research, it proposes eight key development tasks and paths in the three major fields of China's textile industry's intelligent manufacturing, and clarifies the intelligent manufacturing of China's textile industry in the next 5 to 10 years. In recent years, China's textile industry has achieved certain progress in the fields of generic technology, intelligent manufacturing workshop demonstration, digitalized intelligent textile equipment and technology, textile service manufacturing and network collaborative manufacturing, and intelligent textile materials.
